For example, if you have married a woman from Riften, but do not own a house, she will be in Riften. I had the miscellaneous objective chosen, and showed up at AM the next day. Mjoll never showed up, and I started waiting, one or two hours at a time. All the guests were there, and when the day turned, everyone got mad at me, telling me to "just leave" and "get out".
I tested to see if Mjoll was still my follower by asking. Kharjo to follow me. He did. I searched Aerin's house and Breezehome, but never found her. I tired reloading many saves, and finally ended up.
